The best free antivirus!?

Ok I have been looking around for comments on the programs and the best free antivirus Basically there are 3 main contenders out there ... all you will be aware of! ... Avast, Antivir and AVG! Some critics say that one ... and some say other ... Antivir some say has the best detection rate, but AVG has the longevity of service .. and others say is simply the best Avast! What is your opinion? What kind of favor, use your Antivirus 1 to 10 ..... 1 is .... poor and 10 is very good! Thank you guys!
