What is the best free program to locate and remove spyware and malware on my PC?

There two (2) that we recommend you shop for those who do not want (or can not afford) to buy anti-spyware to their machines ... The best of all is that both are completely free to use. They also have a paid version but only gives you more options and the detection capability is the same in both versions ... "Malwarebytes" and "SUPERAntiSpyware" are the two (2 ).... Give them an opportunity both to spy / ad / malware .... and the virus / trojan protection, there are two (2) the products we recommend. Those being Avira AntiVir and Avast 4.8 Home Edition. For years, I always recommend AVG Free, but that recommendation has been stopped. AVG free does not include any "root-kit" of protection that is something I really do not need in today's world ... Avira and Avast both have large root kit protection. Avira has better detection rates, but for many, Avast 4.8 is easier to use ... Or was it a good choice (I personally use Avira) ...
